Administrative / Biographical History

This school was built by the Wesleyan Methodists and opened as Doncaster Wesleyan Girls School in 1871. It closed in July 1930 with older boys transferring to senior schools and younger boys attending the newly created Oxford Place Junior Mixed School (SR25).
