This collection was gifted to the office in October 1988 and was given the accession number 2812. Grove airfield is at SU 395900 West of the the village, one mile north of Wantage. The airfield was built in 1942 and closed in c. September 1955. Kingston Bagpuize airfield is at SU 410965 five miles SW of Abingdon, S of the A415. The airfield was built c. 1942 and closed in June 1954.
