In the years following 1805 French prisoners of the Napoleonic War (1769-1815) were billeted in Thame. These two documents were donated to Oxfordshire Record Office in 2004.
They are written in French but typescript English translations have been produced with the catalogue and are stored with the document. For more information on the topic see:
