Administrative / Biographical History
Thomas Francis was born in the district of Merthyr Tydfil c1869. The 1901 census lists him as a coal miner, hewer living in Edwardsville, Treharris with his wife and daughter. By the 1911 census they have moved to 15 Treharne Road, Edwardsville, they have a second child and are employing two servants. His occupation is given as 'fishmonger and grocer'.
