James of Narberth Collection

Deeds and documents, 1814-1914, relating to lands in the parishes of St Ishmaels, St Issells, Pembrokeshire, Cyffig, Kidwelly, Llanboidy, Llanfallteg, Llangunog, St Clears, St Ishmaels, and the town of Whitland, Carmarthenshire; papers and correspondence, 1908-1913, relating to Llan-gain tithes; correspondence and papers relating to the lunacy of James Llewellyn of St Clears, 1910-1914; and correspondence and papers relating to suit in chancery, Lloyd v. Garratt, [c. 1900]-[c. 1910].

James of Narberth was a firm of solicitors based in Pembrokeshire during the 19th and 20th centuries. The firm dealt with land in Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire, as well as legal disputes, including Lloyd v. Garratt, relating to property in Laugharne, Carmarthenshire, in c. 1900.
