Scope and Content

The Oxford City and Central Coroners District was formed in 1974 from a merger of the Oxford City Coroners District (please see COR1 for these records) and the Oxford Central Coroners District (please see COR2 for these records). In 1975 they merged with the North Western Oxfordshire Coroners District (please see COR5 for these records) and the Banbury Borough Coroners District (please see COR9 for these records) to form the Oxfordshire North and Central Coroners District (please see COR10 for these records).

These records were deposited as Acc 4609 in October 1999 and Acc 4610 in October 1999. Catalogued by Alison Smith, Jennie Montague-Jones and Anna Clark in April 2022.
