These items were given to Oxfordshire Archives via the offices of the Victoria County History in 1966, and assigned the Accession Number 624. It seems that the papers had been given to the V.C.H. upon the death of their owner.
The papers are very miscellaneous, and include items on Headington Poor Law Union, the dispute over the Otmoor enclosure, and land at Waterperry.
