Administrative / Biographical History

Llandovery British School was located in Llandovery. The school originally opened in 1847 as a Board School at Salem Chapel, Queen Street, Llandovery. It was open for all children above 4 years of age. The infants and juniors’ departments merged in 1981 and became known as Llandovery County Primary School.
