Administrative / Biographical History

Felinfoel public hall and library was opened by Lady Stepney in 1905. It had been built on land donated by the Felinfoel Brewery Co. and was partly funded with monies raised by local miners who also laboured on the build. The building was extended in 1911 to its present size and subsequently functioned as a Community Centre and library which was officially opened in 1964. By 2016 the building had closed and its future uncertain.
