Administrative / Biographical History

The correspondence relates to matters arising from the British Antarctic Expedition, 1910-1913 (leader Robert Falcon Scott). Cherry-Garrard served as assistant zoologist during the expedition, Francis Drake served on board the expedition ship Terra Nova, Edward RGR Evans was a member of the shore party. The letter is written on British Antarctic Expedition, 1910-1913 headed paper.
