Scope and Content

Bucknell is located 19 miles north east of Oxford. It is now part of the Benefice of Bicester with Buckfield, Caverfield and Launton.

The records were originally deposited in the Bodleian Library by Rev DHB Thomas priest in charge in 1976. Further records were deposited by Rev MC Scott-Joynt, priest in charge in 1977, 1979 and 1980 . The material was then transferred to the Oxfordshire Record Office. Additional records were deposited as Acc 593 in originally catalogued as Beaz I/1.
