This material forms part of an artificial collection given to the office in September 1982 by Wiltshire Record Office (accession number 2069).
The documents cover the years 1765 to 1891 and include two title deeds, copies of wills, letters, and background notes about family matters made by John Stevens, who (like his brother Frederick) lived in Bond Street, Trowbridge. The family were iron founders in Britwell Salome in the nineteenth century.
Catalogued by Mark Priddey, December 1993.
