Scope and Content

King James's Sixth Form College was formed in 1976 when Gillotts School (please see S128/13 for records of this school) took over the provision of comprehensive secondary education for the town, and the former Grammar School (please see S128/4 for records of this school) became the first sixth form college in the county. In 1987 the college merged with the South Oxfordshire Technical College (please see S128/6 for records of this school) to form Henley College (please see S128/7 for records of this school).

The majority of the records were deposited as Acc 3160 in December 1990 and Acc 3449 in March 1992. Catalogued by Heleen van Rossum June 1993, recatalogued by Alison Smith in April 2009.
