Research notes, mainly computational chemistry, includes correspondence with Huw Pritchard {1950s, 1990s]. Includes a note on the Cyber 205 lecture. There are computer printouts, possibly relating to work undertaken with Huw Pritchard , including an explanatory note, presumably by Pritchard: "Around 1955, we were attempting to manipulate polynomials symbolically, and to calculate standard integrals algebraically", as well as work on printer plots. Also mentions Sumner's demonstration of a "one-level store" (data cache). There are a number of Sumner's notes relating to his work in the 1950s and some correspondence with Huw Pritchard, which do not have year dates, but presumably date to the mid-tolate-1950s.
