Papers of the late Mr W. O. Williams, Homestead, 47 St. Margarets Drive, Rhyl collected by his daughter Mair Elizabeth Dodd. W. O. Williams, his father and uncle were in the police.

Richard Henry Williams was born in Llanfechell in 1875 to William and Mary Williams of Bryn Goleu. At 21 years old he married Elizabeth Anne Hughes of Llanddeusant who gave birth to their first child Annie Mary in April 1896. Richard joined the Anglesey Constabluary in 1900 when he was 25 years old. He worked in Holyhead where his son William Owen Williams was born. Later working as the police constable in Aberffraw Police Station.
