Deeds and Sales Catalogue: Tan Dinas Cottage, Llanfairpwllgwyngyll

Deeds for the property Tan Dinas, Llanfairpwll and an article on the campaign to create a road from Newborough village to provide access to Newborough beach and Llanddwyn Isle.

Tan Dinas Cottage appears on the 1841 census but not on the tithe for Llanfairpwll. The property formed part of the Plas Newydd Estate from 1843 in this collection of papers and later under the title of the Sixth Marquess of Anglesey Charles Henry Alexander Paget. The Plas Newydd Estae was broken up and auctioned off in 1932. The ownership then transferred to Mrs Black. This small collection of papers tracks the transfer of ownership to 1989.
