This subfonds consists of records created by the Border Regional Co-operative Society. These include committee records, financial records, members records, memoranda, correspondence, press cuttings, and photographs.

Administrative / Biographical History

The Border Regional Co-operative Society was created upon the amalgamation of the Central Borders Co-operative Society and the Dumfries Co-operative Society. The Society now had branches across the Scottish Borders and Dumfries. In 1992 the Society was merged with the East Lothian Co-operative Society to form the Lothian and Borders Co-operative Society.
