Scope and Content

Wheatfield is a village to the south- east of Oxfordshire, lying midway between Thame and Watlington. In 1928, Wheatfield was united with Stoke Talmage and then in 1981 both parishes were united with Tetsworth, South Weston, Adwell and Lewknor.

The parish records of Wheatfield were originally deposited with the Bodleian Library in 1980. An Appendix at the end of this catalogue provides a concordance of old and new reference numbers.

Recatalogued by Robin Darwall-Smith in July 1996.
