Scope and Content

Precept from Thos Browne and J. Herbert, deputy-lieutenants and justices of the peace, to Evan Woosnam, gent., High Constable of the Upper Division of the hundred of Llanidloes, requiring him to issue precepts to the petty constables within his division, that they summon the persons listed therein to appear at the dwelling house of John Lewis, innkeeper, of Llanidloes, to be sworn in as militiamen.
