Scope and Content
Administrative / Biographical History
Sarah Mitchell had a City and Guilds qualification in needlework and taught embroidery, beadwork and other forms of needlework. She was a member of the Berwick branch of the Embroiderers Guild. In addition to creating beautiful needlework she also collected antique and contemporary forms of beadwork, lace and embroidery. She died in 2010.
