Scope and Content

Witney Holy Trinty is situated in Woodgreen, Witney, 12 miles west of Oxford. The church was opened in 1849 and was a Chapel of ease to Witney St Mary until 1980. For earlier records see Mss.d.d.Par.Witney St Mary.

The records were originally deposited in the Bodleian Library by Rev Canon RE Meredith, rector of Witney Holy Trinity in 1979-1980. The material was then transferred to the Oxfordshire Record Office. Further records were deposited as Acc 3219 in 1991 and Acc 3535/2 in August 1992.
