Photograph album with photographs documenting Page's stay in Abeokuta and elsewhere in Nigeria. Includes images of Page with his brother and colleagues at parties and in sports teams with other members of the European community of Nigeria. The album also displays photographs taken of the scenery and infrastructure of Abeokuta as well as native Nigerians in groups, carrying out day to day activities and celebrating religious festivals like Ramadan. Contains photographs of railway construction and the Abeokuta uprising of 1918 as well as local dignitaries including the Alake of Abeokuta. This album also features a photograph of Empire Day in Nigeria in 1917. The volume displays postcards which show scenes from a variety of different African countries. The photographs tend to be labelled with names and dates.
