Please note this collection of letters, which were originally loaned to the Archive by Igor Anrep in 2000, have been catalogued as a separate sub-fonds rather than combining them with the letters that were donated to the Archive, along with further personal papers of Helen Anrep, Roger Fry and Boris Anrep, by the executors of Igor Anrep in 2006 (See TGA 200611/1-4). This decision was made as these letters appear to have been selected as being significant by Igor Anrep. In addition, the letters were sorted and made available to researchers before the other letters and personal papers arrived at the Archive. If the letters were to be merged, researchers wouldn't be able to differentiate which letters were part of the original loan selected and given by Igor Anrep.
