Many of the records in this collection were originally deposited at the Bodleian Library by the vicar and churchwardens of Wheatley in 1956 and 1979. The enclosure award was deposited by Wheatley Parish Council in 1949. Further records were deposited at Oxfordshire History Centre: banns registers by the vicar in 1988, marriage registers in 1989, and burial register PAR286/1/R5/3 in 1990. Additional material was deposited by Wheatley Parochial Church Council in January 1993 (accession 3563), February 2007 (accession 5612), November 2011 (accession 6046) and July 2012 (accession 6093). Wheatley Charities deposited records in March 2007 (accession 5623).
