Administrative / Biographical History
Company originally incorporated as The Light Railways Limited. Incorporating as Shields of Perth Limited on 25 Oct 1916 . Later incorporating to Auchenwillan Holding Limited on 5 Oct 1977 . Originally a textile concern the business was dormant for many years before becoming a holding company for a group of Indian tea companies. The company was dissolved in 2001 .
