Items B/1-B/9 consist of five year engagement diaries filled in, except during illness, by Alice Williams' companion, Fanny (Mowbray-) Laming, until her death on 30 Jan 1939. Thereafter they were completed by Alice Williams herself. Also includes diary notes of a trip to America and of a motor tour (B/8-9)
