This rent book must be collated carefully for corresponding entries in YALE/19. The information here is much more explicit and accessible than YALE/18 and YALE/19 for it supplies the name of the parish, the serial number, the tenement and the name of the tenant.
There are interesting inserts on :
p. 6 (inventory of the chattels of John Williams of Greigwen in Bachellaeth, 1824)
p. 28 (visiting card of Sir Love Jones-Parry)
p. 49 ( a reference to Chwilog Kiln)
p. 54 (difficulties with rent at Henllys Newydd in the parish of LLanbedrog)
p. 59 (special agreement with John Evans of Ty'n y coed in Bachellaeth, signed "T.P. Jones Parry" on 5 Ovtober 1824)
The observation columns are sometimes quite illuminating of social conditions; e.g. the exact arrangement regarding Ty Mari Rhys of Llangian (p. 33); the disappearance of John Lewis from his house in Llaniestyn to get married - Spring of 1824 (p. 37); the letting of Porth Golmon in Llangwnnadl to three partners, each giving "earnest" to the Madryn agent on 8 August 1825 (p. 39); the family succession in the holding of three quillets in the parish of Aberdaron (p. 46).
On p. 68 are particulars of payments by the Sidney GFriffith who farmed Tynewydd in Ceidio.
