Scope and Content
Administrative / Biographical History
The Baptists of Llangennech built their first Salem Chapel in [c. 1840 at Yr Allt, to the north of the village. A new chapel was built in the village of Llangennech, Carmarthenshire in 1879. In 1928 the chapel was extended at the east end to accommodated an organ. Capel Salem is a Grade II Listed Building.
