Woodstock National School was incorporated with a school founded in 1738 by Rev Sir Robert Cocks, rector of Woodstock with Bladon. The school buildings were erected in 1854. A new school building located on Shipton Road was built in 1968, though the old school site remained in use until 1985. The school is now known as Woodstock Primary School. These records were transferred from the Oxfordshire Education Department to the Oxfordshire History Centre. Further records were deposited as part of Acc 3147 in October 1990 and as Acc 6763 in June 2019. Recatalogued by Alison Smith in June 2013 with additions in December 2015 and April 2022.
