These charts of the world were first published on 14 August 1830 by Richard Holmes Laurie, London. These copies come from the new edition created in 1832-1833. Two charts cover each hemisphere, the second chart for the southern hemisphere (MS 600/8/4;MSM) has 5 additional tracts on it covering voyages in the southern oceans by John Biscoe, The Russian Naval Expedition, 1818-1821 (leader Fabian Bellingshausen), the United States Sealing Voyage, 1822-1824 (leader Benjamin Morrell), the British Sealing Voyage, 1833-1834 (leader Peter Kemp) and a voyage by Balleny.
