Ronald Pritchard served as a volunteer conductor on Cardiff Corporation Tramways and Motor Omnibuses during the General Strike between 3 and 14 May 1926. He was invited to a civic reception as a mark of thanks and recognition by Cardiff Corporation on 16 July 1926.
