Scope and Content

Wood Eaton (also spelled Woodeaton) is a village only a few miles to the north-east of Oxford itself. In 1986, Wood Eaton was united with the parishes of Islip, Charlton-on-Otmoor, Oddington and Noke.

The records of Wood Easton was deposited in three instalments originally with the Bodleian Library in 1967, 1969 and 1980. Further records were deposited as Acc 6375 in May 2015. A concordance for old and new reference numbers is available at the back of the catalogue.
