Rotherfield Peppard is situated 23 miles south east of Oxford.
The records were originally deposited in the Bodleian Library by Rev TP Tracey, rector of Rotherfield Peppard in 1972 and 1973. The material was then transferred to the Oxfordshire History Centre. Further records were deposited by the parish as Acc 5896 in September 2009 and as Acc 6509 in 2016. Additional material included in this catalogue had been previously catalogued as Rotherfield Peppard PC V, Dolphin and Misc Rother.
