The papers consist of drafts of manuscript music (1-11), correspondence and miscellanea. Nos 1-11 contain other incomplete or untitled drafts in addition to the pieces listed. All manuscripts are in the hand of DP unless otherwise stated. No. 18, a file belonging to Anne Protheroe, 593 Maryland Avenue, Milwaukee, Wis., USA The file contained printed copies of folk songs, anthems and hymns arranged by Daniel Protheroe has been transferred to Department of Printed Books.
