Administrative / Biographical History
H. Hughes & Sons Ltd were ironmongers in Llanerchymedd, Anglesey (formerly known as T. & R. Williams, Dinorben House) from around the 1870s until the 1930s. The firm moved from their premises in Llanerchymedd in March 1978 and operate in Llangefni and Holyhead, Anglesey. They also own large premises in the industrial estate in Llangefni. Mr Thomas Williams, co-owner of the firm in the 19th and early 20th century, was a committee member of the North Wales Lunatic Asylum, Denbigh, and chairman of Anglesey County Council, 1905 - 1907.
