Records of Stoddard International plc, Design Archive, Design Papers - Persian

This material is held atUniversity of Glasgow Archive Services

Scope and Content

Three very large computer aided design (CAD) carpet patterns featuring Persian designs. While these designs have been made using CAD technology, the designs also feature seemingly handwritten elements, such as design numbers, which also appear to have been printed rather than written or painted on to the designs. Two of the designs are made up of many sections, the majority of which are attached to backing paper. One designs was produced by Louis de Poortere, a Belgian subsidiary of Stoddard International.

This description is part of the Design Archive  which is divided into the 142 sections, each with its own separate description.
