Administrative / Biographical History
Professor M. Broady, Professor in the Department of Social Administration/Social Policy, University of Wales Swansea, 1970-1982 is assumed to have been a member of the Mid-Wales Industrial Development Association. The Mid-Wales Industrial Development Association was set up in 1957 with the purpose of attracting and encouraging industrial development in the region. Its responsibilities were taken over in 1977 by the Development Board for Rural Wales.
