The debit account paid for running repairs, alterations and enlargements to the asylum; provided for raw materials and workmen's wages; and paid for patients lodged in other asylums. The credit account received the quotas due from the parties in the Union. Both books overlap on a number of years as H1/F2/1 was kept by the treasurer of the asylum whereas H1/F2/2 was kept by the clerk to the Committee of Visitors.
