Cowbridge Record Society collection comprising of plans, 1960-1996; byelaws, 1890-1939; papers relating to war damage scheme, 1940-1944; transcript of Cowbridge Borough Charter, 1753-1996

Hubert Thomas worked for Cowbridge Rural District Council mainly as Public Health Officer, apart from durung World War II when he helped arrange repairs for council property after damage by air-raids. He also freelanced as a surveyor. This collection comprises of records that he collected over the period which relate to his various professional activities.
