The volume records the return of containers to an unidentified company formerly containing miscellaneous goods including salt, vinegar, tobacco and probably malt, sent apparently sent from Swansea to various destinations around Bristol Channel including Bristol, Bridgewater, and Weston by steamer. Two late entries record returns by railway from Thomas Salt & Co., brewers, Burton-upon-Trent
