Administrative / Biographical History
The Llanasa Inclosure Act 1811 appointed trustees for the maintanance, support and preserving the works of embankment and drainage in Llanasa, Flintshire. Their last meeting took place in February 1921. The County Council in January 1930 convened a meeting of proprietors in March 1930 to appoint new trustees. The Clerk of the County Council was appointed Clerk of the Trustees on 15 July 1930. The Trust was abolished as a Drainage Authority in January 1933, and its functions in the River Dee Catchment Area devolved upon the River Dee Catchment Board in accordance with the Land Drainage Act 1930.
