Scope and Content

Responses to a letter sent by Solomons to peers nationally and internationally with queries regarding the function of the Fallopian tubes for his use in an address for the forthcoming British Congress of Gynaecologists and Obstetricians, in particular concerning operations on the Fallopian tubes for sterility and the results of such operations, including from F J Browne, Victor Bonney, Comyns Berkeley, Clifford White, Blair-Bell, Louis Carnac Rivett, Arthur Gemmell, Morris Datnow, Beckwith Whitehouse, Wentworth Taylor, R W Johnstone, Gilbert Strachan, William Gilliatt, James Hendry, Arthur Leyland Robinson, Isidor Rubin, Charles Macafee, Joseph B de Lee, and Arthur Curtis, including their opinions on the procedure and experiences of its effectiveness. There is also a black and white photograph of unidentified sketches and a print, presumably sent with one of the responses.
