Gray, Early Cambridge Stationers and Bookbinders (Oxford, 1904), pp. 47-48, plates XXVIIA-B; see also Howard M. Nixon, Five Centuries of English Bookbinding (London, 1978), no. 7); remains of two leather straps on front cover and brass clasps on back cover
