Minute Books

This series consists of signed minute books covering meetings of the Executive Committee, the General Committee, Annual and Special General Meetings. A revision of rules in 1904 disbanded the Executive Committee and the General Committee became the Council. Some sub-committee minutes are also included. Sub-committees were often expert committees formed to produce reports on issues of professional interest. The minutes vary in the amount of information provided. The minute books list new members elected at each Annual Meeting. The Honorary Secretary's report given at each annual meeting includes a summary of reports submitted annually by members about their work over the year. It is not known if any minutes previous to 1892 survive.
