Rough operational records

This subgroup contains a number of volumes kept by the company for internal use. They were presumably intended to keep track of the practical day-to-day concerns of the operation in Britain, from the purchase of raw materials and textiles, through work carried out on those materials such as finishing processes, to their packaging, carriage to port and consignment overseas.
