The manuscript contains: a transcript of a tract 'Die Veneris 2 Octobris 1646' and two sets of transcribed minutes; transcripts of the minutes of the Manchester Classis between the years 1647 and 1660 (from originals in Cross Street Chapel, Manchester); and transcripts of the minutes of general meetings of ministers of the United Brethren in Lancashire between the years 1693 and 1700. These manuscripts appear to have been copied by Shaw from copies made in the 1870s by Thomas Barber.
