Letter thanking Kelly for a book of his Poems, which he praises. Nicholson refers to the death of his oldest friend Sid Chaplin and because of the death of his wife, Yvonne, the difficulties of attending a commemorative reading for Chaplin. Nicholson writes that he is keeping pretty well and was greatly heartened, two years ago, by the publication of that Festschrift: Between Comets. He concludes by congratulating Kelly on the birth of his daughter.
