The Faculty Board was created in 1968 when the Faculty of Business Administration was established. Its membership comprised the academic staff of the School, and like all Faculty Boards, it was responsible for academic policy relating to admissions, curricula and examinations. Departmental Boards were formally established at the University in 1973, and dealt with internal Administration issues.
The minutes include papers presented to the meeting, including reports of subordinate committees. Each meeting record constitutes a separate file. Departmental Board minutes are filed with Faculty Board until late 1995, as meetings were held consecutively on the same dates. All Faculty minutes for 1968-1993 and 1998-2004 are missing.
