The Works of L.P. Hartley

This series is comprised of material relating to the works of Leslie Poles Hartley. A great deal of the material in this collection is for L.P Hartley’s literary fiction works, with holographic masters, drafts and extracts, for several of his novels, short story collections and there is some emphasis on genres such as his ghost stories. Also included are essays and lectures, and magazine contributions, as well as talks, addresses and broadcasts that Hartley made both professionally and personally. Additionally, there are pieces written about Hartley, reviews of his work and three dissertaions based on his work.
