This class consists of many fascinating documents - such as letters, programmes, minutes, notes, articles and newspaper cuttings - chronicling Peter Slade's career from before the war to the present day. Organised as the bundles are by Slade himself, they produce a fascinating insight into his life and work.

In most cases, Slade has written an accompanying note, and his comments and explanations may be found on the letters and papers themselves, making it easier to understand their significance.
